Jocelyn Vreugdenhil (1974) studied psychology at the University of Utrecht. She was also a resident writer for magazine such as ELLE Eten, Management Team, Red, Miljonair and JFK. She was also a reporter for regional news channels and is a freelance text writer.

Jocelyn lives in Amsterdam with her girlfriend and their two daughters. Her debut novel Middagzwemmers, about the search for a perfect sperm donor, has been published by Luitingh-Sijhoff publishers in June 2018.
