Renée completed a BA in literary studies and a research master’s programme in comparative literary studies at Utrecht University. She did a publishing internship at Meulenhoff Boekerij and stayed on as publishing assistant for the Meulenhoff imprint before joining the Marianne Schönbach Literary Agency as junior agent.
