Suzan Schapendonk

Suzan worked in several major publishing houses for 15 years. Her main focus was non-fiction: food & drink and lifestyle. She helped to build the successes of Jamie Oliver, Donna Hay and the Silver Spoon in the Netherlands. At Unieboek | Het Spectrum she was in charge of the Lifestyle list, where she was responsible for the strategic, creative and financial policy.

She’s specialized in creating books with beautiful photo’s and striking design. Four years ago she started het own business, joining Anouschka Peterink at Kip & Ei. Her main focus is concept development, personal coaching and putting together talented teams for creative projects.

For Marianne Schönbach Literary Agency she scouts unique talent in the genre lifestyle. Her projects are represented by senior literary agent Diana Gvozden.
